The hilltop town of Civita in northern Italy is reachable only by a mile long footpath - no cars in this village. There are about 15 permanent residents. We enjoyed a walk around the town and an afternoon repast on the terrace of the only restaurant. The house wine was delicious and the more I drank the more interested I became in the patterns made looking through both the bowl and base of the wine glass. I decided to give my lens a “sip” and this is what I came up with.
