Chicago - my home town and the home to a wonderful architectural heritage. One of the most entertaining and educational ways to see some of that splendor is on the Chicago River architectural boat tours run by the Chicago Architectural Society - a must if you are spending any time in Chicago. This trio of buildings was photographed on the south branch of the river. And yes, the river does turn green on St. Patrick’s day.
