The charming hillside town of Moustier-Ste-Marie is perched at the western entrance to the Gorges du Verdon, the French counterpart to the Grand Canyon. A natural spring originating in the limestone cliff above the town flows through the center of the village and creates a waterfall at the base of town. This photograph was taken in the late afternoon looking at the "West Side" from the "East Side." The reflection in the shadowed facade is alit giving the appearance that we are actually looking through the window rather than at the reflection.
