This was another challenging image. This pond at Tuolumne Meadows on the east side of Yosemite was filled with exquisitely colored granite boulders. The sun was leaving quickly and I finally got the last rays to illuminate this boulder. The rock looks like a moon to me and as an homage to Ansel, I call it Moonrise Under Yosemite (or Moonfall over Yosemite if you turn it upside down).
