I got a very low vantage point to photograph these lilies in a pond reflecting the flowers surrounding it. The goal was to get a colorful mottling to the water. I'm usually quite aware of what is coming through the lens when I click the shutter, but this time I was oblivious to the beautiful lapis color in the pads where the wetness was reflecting the color of the sky.
