The beautiful color of an interior courtyard wall of a government building caught my eye as I was walking towards the Zocalo in Oaxaca, Mexico. The wall was deteriorating and the plant was in a pot with a black garbage bag liner in it so I used a telephoto lens and worked with the angle to get a "purer" photograph that has an oriental silk screen appearance to it. This photograph is a lesson about how if we just change our vantage point a bit and blur the "background noise" things can look a lot better than they initially appear.
