Holy Week in Southern Spain is a time of solemn ceremony and fervent celebration. Each village has its unique way of celebrating the Easter week. In the small town of Tobarra, drumming was the trademark. You could hear people with drums coming from all corners of the town converging on the church in the central plaza from which the processions started. I was set up to photograph the side of a car that was mounted on the outside wall of a disco when this mini-procession passed in front of my viewfinder.
